November 2002 - 10 years of sharing Copperkins

In 2002, the owners of Copperkins 11 celebrated 10 years of sharing the old girl and in true Copperkins fashion we had to celebrate. The celebration  took the form of a meal on the evening of the owners meeting and just to make sure that a good time was had by all, we all booked rooms in the hotel. As well as the current owners, five couples of whom have been with her since 1992, we were delighted to be joined by two "old" couples who were also in at the beginning.  We met up in Ian and Julie's room  for the traditional glass of orange before moving to our own dining room where we had an excellent meal in very convivial company. Oh, the stories which were told and the events which were relived! After the meal, John, this years chairman, presented a bouquet to Julie to say how sorry we all were that she, Ian and Carl had to sell their share this year.

These photos were taken during the evening.

Iain shows off the fender he made during our trip prior to the meeting.

Hasn't Elaine got a gleam in her eye?

And what IS Susan saying?

I think Rob suits his hat, don't you?

Hot lips! Guess what they got in their crackers?

The happy expression on John (Finch)'s face just sums up the whole evening.
