Something which is very relaxing and gives you a chance to sit and chat and watch the wildlife in its natural habitat? 

Something which won’t cost you very much? 

Then why not have a boat trip along the Union canal on board Bluebell?  

Bluebell is a steel narrow boat which has been restored by the volunteers in the Bridge 19-40 Canal Society and she can take up to 12 passengers – we will supply a driver and crew.  

We can provide you with tea and coffee and you can also bring your own food and drink if you wish.  

A two hour trip could take you from Port Buchan, Broxburn,  to the aqueduct at Linns Mill or through Winchburgh and back. The trip to the aqueduct includes a 20-30 minute stopover there, with excellent views if the weather is suitable, while the Winchburgh trip is more suitable for inclement weather as there is no stopover. Longer trips can also be arranged to suit – let us know where you’d like to go. 

It only costs £70 to hire Bluebell for two hours, which is only £5.83  each of you if there are 12 in the party. If you want a longer trip, each additional hour costs only £25. A three hour trip for 12 people will only cost £7.92 per person!
